REDUCING THE “I WISH I KNEW” NOW.
exposure as your future self coming back to you to bring insights

One of the common phrases which I say to myself, goes like this.
“Man!... I wish I knew this before.” And mostly I say this when I have learned something new, and by that time I have already realized how knowing this earlier could have been a big game changer in my life.
Damn it! but it’s too late now, time has already passed.
Just for the sake of showing gratitude for whatever I have now, am constraining myself from blaming me, but man! this drives me nuts, look:
I could have been a physics wizard if I did a lot of questions in secondary school—here I have discovered this when I was in college. Not only that, now am realizing how important it was for me to go further in analytical chemistry in college—My career now is anchored in these concepts, what a waste, I just passed through the slides for the sake of using less energy (I was supposed to read more books, daah!!, now I have to reread all these concepts agaaaain!!!!). After all these years now, I know she liked me too!!!—Where was I, to ask her out 😒.
Yeah, I got nothing to do about these, I have to continue the life. 😒🙌
Wait but somehow, I have got some insights from all these, and I consider it as a token for the next life am living now (and not the past):
1. Yes, now I might think I know living this way, working this way, is the right way, but I have to live every day with a notion that there might be a better way to do it, or I might be totally wrong and there are many things which I don’t know.
With this view my goal every day is to uncover what I don’t know and know it, through reading, talking with experienced people and everything else which falls under the theme of getting me more exposed.
2. Knowing stuff now is like the older you are coming back to you and telling you the best ways to do things so that you won’t regret it again.
One of the tricks which I find quite useful is to talk to someone who has passed a similar path as I’m doing right now, so as he can tell me the things, he wished he could have done differently.
I consider it one of my goals to be this person to you guys, trying my level best to share what I think could be useful to you right now so as to reduce the “I wish I knew.” which I might have experienced. So be free to reach out to me for any question, I’ll be glad to help.
